Note-oriety is a barbershop quartet from Houston and Austin, Texas. Stefan, Mike, Dave and Pete are young (OK, relatively), handsome (ditto), and entertaining. We are a registered quartet with the Barbershop Harmony Society, and we all are members of the Houston Tidelanders Barbershop Chorus. We compete in the Society's five-state Southwestern District competitions and are proud to have placed in the top ten in each of our last five contests. We sing at a variety of shows and events including performing on Tidelanders shows at the Wortham Center and other venues. Unique gigs have included delivering a singing Valentine on the evening news, a surprise marriage proposal in a restaurant, promoting The Music Man on the morning news and singing to the astronaut crew on the International Space Station. As we perform, we share with our audiences our friendship, our professional presentation, our reverence, and - of course - our high quality barbershop quartet sound. |
